This charming hamlet, located on the banks of Lake Koycegiz and surrounded by stunning scenery, provides a tranquil haven away from crowded tourist hotspots. Lake Koycegiz

The captivating Lake Koycegiz, a serene paradise that enchants visitors with its immaculate beauty, is located in the center of Koycegiz. Take a leisurely boat excursion through the calm seas and take in the surrounding lush vegetation, mountains, and strewn islets. If you're looking for a cool place to escape from the hot weather and chill out go to Yuvarlak Çay which is 8 kilometers (5 miles) away from Koycegiz. 

Far away from the crowds and chaos of city life, this hidden gem offers a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts and tranquility seekers alike. As you arrive in Yuvarlakçay, you'll be greeted by a sense of calm that permeates the air, inviting you to slow down and immerse yourself in the beauty of your surroundings. There are many restaurants in this area and my favorite place in this location is Akarsu. 

One of the village's standout features is its breathtaking river, after which it is named. The crystal-clear waters of Yuvarlakçay flow gently, reflecting the vibrant hues of the surrounding flora. It's no wonder that locals and visitors alike are drawn to its banks, seeking solace in its peaceful ambiance. Whether you choose to dip your toes in the cool water or find a shady spot to relax and unwind, the river offers the perfect respite from the heat of the Turkish sun.
